I'm Amie Shapiro and at age 7, I made tortilla chips from tortillas.
By age 9, I had performed in my first musical and won an ice skating competition.
At age 10, I opened a checking account and started depositing 1/2 my allowance there.
The other 1/2 went toward buying CDs and Bath and Body Works Body Sprays.
I’ve been called ‘the creative type’ which might just be a polite way of saying I’m weird.
I’ve been performing most of my life but early on I realized that financial security was way better than standing in a spotlight while being broke.
So I help people become financially literate by day and continue to sing after hours.
As soon as my meetings are over, you'll find me hiking with my dogs or at a rehearsal.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Technology Entrepreneurship and Management.
