I'm Benjamin Packard and I'm a financial advisor.

At age 7, a raccoon bit my finger.

At age 9, I started buying stocks.

At age 13,  I learned how to legally avoid paying taxes on earnings from the stock.

Fast forward 25 years and now I’m a financial advisor.

I have an MBA in finance from a mediocre university.

I live in co-housing.

I care about improving the lives of animals we eat.

I have 4 button down shirts, 2 children, 417 Legos and 1 wife.

I’m a terrible cook.

If you claim to like modern art, we’re probably not a good fit.

I write about personal finance.

This TED talk impacted my life.

This is the best personal finance lecture I’ve ever seen.

I'm Amie Shapiro and I'm a financial advisor.

At age 7, I made tortilla chips from tortillas.

At age 9, I had performed in my first musical and won an ice skating competition.

At age 10, I opened a checking account and started depositing 1/2 my allowance there.

The other 1/2 went toward buying CDs and Bath and Body Works Body Sprays.

I’ve been called ‘the creative type’ which might just be a polite way of saying I’m weird.

I’ve been performing most of my life but early on I realized that financial security was way better than standing in a spotlight while being broke.

So I help people become financially literate by day and continue to sing after hours.

As soon as my meetings are over, you'll find me hiking with my dogs or at a rehearsal.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Technology Entrepreneurship and Management.

If you haven’t done karaoke, we’re probably not a good fit.
